Monadnock Sportmen, "in it" for 2010!

Another successful meeting and the number of members (17) continues to increase! We have lots of work to do before the next meeting (Feb 20th) but we will get it done!

I encourage all houndsmen in the New England area to come on out to our events this year.

Our new members are committed to making this years events successful and enjoyable for all.

Be nice to see this thing take off! I sent Dave H. a list of ideas to help raise $ for the club that wont cost a lot of $. Dont know if he got it or forwarded it, but we used some of them to help get a lot of Beagle clubs in the same position back in the game years ago. Most of them worked really well. I am expecting our first child and run a business so time will not be overly available so I was trying to help in any way I could. Just offering some things that I have experience with that worked in the past. If you are interested in them more I would be more then happy to go over everything. Thanks for inviting me to your home for the first meeting! I had 0 hope for the club based on the first hour or so of the meeting, but feel much better about the clubs potential with you at the helm! glad you agreed to it!

Thank you very much and yes Dave did forward me your ideas. Once we "get our legs under us", we will move ahead with them. I think everyone involved has been rejuvinated, having new faces and new ideas is always a plus. Good luck to you and your wife with the new baby! wd

There are a million others as well, I am sure all of them are pretty much common sense though. The more people that get involved the more and better the ideas will be. Is there any info. anywhere as far as if people want to join? Where to mail payment, how much etc...... I think this stuff should be accesable so people that are interested in joining can do so if they are not super local. I never had the chance to pay my membership that night (I never carry cash for some reason?) and want to send payment!

I just got the ok to hold another rabies clinic at Clarks Grain on rte 28 in Chichester NH. They held one at that location years ago and it was a HUGE success. Anyone know a vet willing to put on a clinic in Feb or Mar over there? wd

2 clinics will be great! Try and lock down a date and time with your vet asap so I can let H&B know and start making flyers.

I received all the paperwork from UKC today for our event on May 14 & 15.
