I'm just on my second bag but the Diamond Extreme Athlete has caused the quickest positive change in appearance of any feed I have tried.
Purina Pro Plan Performance. A bit pricey but if you are just feeding one dog it's not too bad. It is impossible to hunt a dog down on this feed, all night long 8 nights a week and they will hold up.

I agree with the Pro Plan. It is more expensive, but is the only food we have been able to find that keeps our walker male from looking malnurished! He's real hard to keep weight on, even when he's not working. We started feeding him Pro Plan Lamb and Rice select cuts and he looks great.
Also feed it to pregnant and nursing females. Keeps their coat shiny and their weight mantained.
Just wish we could buy it somewhere else, only place here that sells it is TSC and the price fluctuates from $36.99-42.99 a bag, 40 pound bag.

your right about that the diamond food is the best i have used and it's cost effective as they require a lot less and look and work twice as good. pro plan is out of sight price wise for the content of the feed

you have to make any food change gradual even the best foods available will give the runs from a food change.
i often here on this forum that this or that food gave them the runs when i know the food mentioned if properly introduced . twill not give any dog the runs.
there are a few dogs that can't handle even the best foods available but they are an exception
