GRNTCH GRCH 'pr' Miss emilies blue titan

I recently finished Titan to dual grand it has been a fun road with him. Traveled to many states treed a lot of coon and most of all had a lot of fun.

HA HA well you know how it is. I found one on the road on the way out one we shined and the others were left over from the trappers stash. SHHHHH dont tell anyone. HA HA.

You know better Mr. Loyd you have been out with TI once or twice. HA HA

I called ya to see where that pic was at to get to MR. Darrel. Just curious to see if you have it hangin up on your wall at work HA HA.

I have been relaxing and taken it easy since we finished him out. I am currently working on a couple more dogs to start puttin in the hunts.

The only problem is the 3 girls are in heat or going in or comeing out so all I really have to go out and play is Ti and his son.

It will be interesting this year. Traps are starting to go in here. I talked with a buddy that traps and he said one night he got 37 and the next night in the same spot got 23.

He has one heck of an impressive trap line. He traps due to some personal issues and cant carry a gun. But instead of him gettin down and out about it he is still in the woods trappin.

We talked one night for bout 3 hours about where hes trappin and where I am huntin so we dont mess one another up. For instance I wont run on his land incase a dog gets in a trap and he wont trap the land I am huntin on till we decide to switch spots.

Its a very honarable thing to do between houndsmen and trapper.

Its too bad there isnt more out there like him. Another guy around here wont even tell you where hes trappin and he will try and run you off the land that we have permission to be on. Its really funny. When you ask those kind of people IS THIS YOUR LAND. Cause we have permission to hunt it from the land owner.

Trixy Solo'd her first coon last night

Luke,

Abraham is outside finishing his chores and we are about to go visit some friends...
but I wanted tell you right away that Trixie tracked and treed her first coon last night all by herself.
Five and a half months old! She's awesome!

She has only been out with another dog (Mr. Grivetti's walker) one time;
And we have worked with her with a hide; but I really think it is just pure breeding instinct that she is operating on.
It's like she just knows what she needs to do.
She ran one hard the other night and ran him clear our of hearing... I tried to keep up but couldn't over the broken terrain and cedar groves.
Eventually she came back and tracked me down...but she has been running them further and further out each time.

Well last night she hit a hot track and had him up in a tree in 2 minutes.
She has a beautiful long bawl on track and when she treed she switched over to a kind of quick bawl/slow chop.
I told Abraham... "You know! I think she has him treed."
She did!
I shot the coon so he wouldn't have too much fight in him when he hit.
I didn't want him to work her over being so young.
Well when he hit the ground he was almost dead but not quite.
She was on him with a purpose!
Bawling, biting, shaking!
She's great.
Thank you so much for her.
She is a perfect dog for Abraham and me.

We will send you a couple pictures tonight of her with the coon in our yard.
Man O Man! I wished I had brought the camera with us last night.
I would have loved to get a picture of her treed.

Gotta run. Will send those pictures tonight and let Abraham write.
