Top English studs

I am pretty new to the hound business in particular the English dogs. I have had squirrel dogs (curs) my whole life. Got lucky and got me 2 english I like well. 1 female out of Gr.Nt.Ch. Creek Bottom High Bawl. My male is directly out of Huck-A-Buck and Nt. Ch. Briar Creek Nasty Nicki.

I was curious to hear some opinions on some english studs. I am not interested in what the dogs won but rather what they are producing. Please don't take this oppurtunity to bash other dogs b/c thats not what this is intended for. Thanks...sonny

I would check out the Triple D line owned by mr don myers his two studs prowler and casper 2 is reproducing true english coon hounds with track and tree power

Check out the Big River Jesse bloodlines , Hardtime bloodlines, and Swamp Rooster bloodlines.... my 2 dogs have all 3 of these sires in their pedigree and they are both outstanding dogs that own me You might also check out Amos...

You can't go wrong with "CHARLEY 7" He throws super nice pups. I hunted with 10 or so pups out of him and all of them looked nice. Hope this can help you out.

by FAR the best pups ive seen have come from Jamie Strouds GRNT male Paycheck, they are quick to get struck and treed and they are starting young, the ones ive seen, and ive seen several they are kennel quiet and have some brains between the ears, one of his pups just won their cast at english days with plus points at 9 mo old., hes produced several hounds with several different females

Terry Adams All Grand GRNT Rocket dog is throwing some hounds also, ive seen a few of those go

Thanks fellas. Lets hear some more opinions. Let me add, that I like a dog with alot of color, good honest strike dog that drifts a track, prefer bawl on track and chop on tree, and I really like the dogs to be not much more than 60lbs.

Great looking rascal

I love the looks of ole Grit. Nothing prettier than an English hound to be colored up this way..........in my opinion! LOL I chase the old blue biscuit eaters around, but one of these days I sure would love to have a loud mouth English gyp with this coloring.

i really like the mainstreet blood. seem to make very well balanced hounds. some of my pups has went to big game hunters and there well pleased with them also.

you need to check out dusk til dawn duke he is in alabama and is throwing nice young dogs and has been bred to some nice females call courtney ashcraft 334-284-4801

CH NITECH'PR' Webbs Hobo

Eric Snead and I are very good friends. I have an old male dog here that crosses very well on Briar Creek females. I own a Briar Creek female that I cross on my male from time to time. Eric and I have had good luck crossing our dogs. I do not stud my dog out. He is free to breed to. Here is a pic of Hobo. He also throws large litters. He is not performanced or S.S..

I could not find the old ad. When I get a chance I will put his ped. up for you. Nothing fancy about his pedigree. He goes back to Farrell Hammett's old line of breeding. He is just a super loud mouthed coondog that loves to tree coon.
