Gray Walkers

I had a litter of walker pups back in the early 90's. 3 of them were gray. Has anyone else seen these gray walkers in there litters?

I had a buddy that raised a litter of walkers that had a couple of mouse colored pups. One of those turned out to be a super nice hound.

I know somone right now that has a litter with the "Mouse" colored pups in it. I won't give out his name as he wants to keep all of them. LOL!! But they are out of the Yadkin River line - I think.

I had 3 out of a litter of 10 2 died young and the 3rd one I kept untill she was 1 1/2 years old. Real good coondog. They were doubble bred finily river banjo on top and doubble bred houses Tom Tom on bottom. I just wander where the gray came from? If I can get my printer to work Ill try to post a pic of her on here.

I cant stand gay walkers, bothers me allot. I like my walkers, all breeds actually but when one starts pulling gay stuff that's it for me. I dont ask much of my hounds, just be quiet in the yard and tree me coon...but when they start acting gay thats it, they are gone! Wait did you say "gray"? Oh, gray is alright.

They gray pup I kept turned out to be a real coondog. Her and her brother were the only 2 that lived out of the litter. They were the best coondogs I ever owned.

A dog I used to own that is Gray. She is out of the River Bend stock of hounds. I have heard alot of old timers say the Hershberger walker hounds are responsible for the Gray color. Im not sure though its really impossible to find a true reasoning.

Great looking pups. I had 2 that looked like that. The 3rd one had a gray head and 3 small spots on her right side. Her left side was solid white. Its hard telling where the gray comes from? My pups were houses & finley river bred. The top side of her papers were all houses. clint, tom tom, queen lou, kentucky judy. I've seen a few different blood lines throwing gray pups.
