heated water pans ?

what does ever one use and do you like them ? tired of the ice.

TSC Carries a bucket for about 25.00 I got 5 and can't believe it took me this long to get them. They are great fill 1 time every 4 days it's -degrees and still no ice

I just soak my dogs feed in Hot water for about 10 minutes, that way I know they are getting water. Can't afford the heated bowls. Change the water 3 times a day.

The heated buckets from T.S. was one of my better investments.
I like a drink of water during the night sometimes and suppose they do too.

I bought some five gallon heated buckets from a local feed store(35.00) its the best investment yet!!!

I'd get them in a second but I cant figure out how to deal with the cords. How do your dogs not chew the bucket or cords and get shocked to death? I use rubber bowls for feed and water and they get chewed on pretty bad...I'm sure they would devour plastic water bowls. How does everyone mount theirs, stop chewing, etc?

I got stainless stell food bowls and stainless stell buckets with hooks on them and hang them on the kennel fence and attached a clip on each handle so they can't knock them off. I like the idea of the heated water buckets though but don't have electric run to my kennels yet.

I had one pup that would chew up anything you put in the pen. I built a box out of lucabond four inches wider and two inches taller than the water bucket, then cut a round hole in top just a little smaller than the rim on top of the bucket. I then drilled a whole in the side of the box for the cord to go through and put the box next to the side of the pen with the cord on the outside. Problem solved. The dog can' chew lucabond and can't get the bucket out of the box.

I bought 3 two years ago and this year 1 works.......it is a real bummer.

Is there any chance of electrocution with these bowls?

ve used heated bowls from TSC for 10 years. I have maybe bought maybe 6 total. All work but 1. Now as far as dogs chewing them some will. I tie the cords to the kennel on the outside. I use a big semi truck brake drum to put around the water bowl so they can't chew it or play with it. I clean the bowls out every other day. Never any trouble after doing this with the drums. Nice to see they always have clean water in the winter. Very important!

I live in Minn. and it does get a little cold up here once in a while, but I've never had one freeze yet. Got two stainless and one plastic. They don't cost much to run. Had my youngest chew one up last year when he was a pup {got bored} and popped the ground fault breaker but didn't hurt him. Wouldn't be without them, dogs look a lot better in winter when they get all the water they want.
