What is crossing well on Fred females?

Plenty of tree and accuracy. Need more hunt and speed. What about Skuna River Bark? Anyone crossed a Fred female on Bark?

IF YOU GOT TREE AN ACCURACY THEN YOU NEED SOME TRACK. WIPEOUT HOUNDS WILL PUT TRACK...... INDEPENDENCE...... GO YONDER....... AN ACCURACY IN YOUR PUPS . DID I MENTION SUPER LOUD.

Wipeout might work well. Any experience with any of the Wipeout dogs crossed with Fred dogs? I'm guessing Clover (Whitey) dogs would cross well on them also.

I should mention that the Fred dogs I've hunted with and considering breeding have plenty of independence, too much at times.

What is Gunsmoke out of on the bottom side? Wrangler is out of Clint and Fred's mother I think. He might cross well on Fred females. It would double up on Queen.

theres a guy here who bred a double dancer male to a fred female they started early and looked good

you may want to try swift water cheetah

Fred Cross

The River Bend Style dog at Chad Hamby's in North Carolina would be an awesome Clover cross w/ double River Bend Flag on the bottom.

Oliver we started to breed Fancy to Wrangler to double up on Queen but decided that was a little to close. Of the stud dogs we hunted with before we bred her Wrangler was our choice of what we liked the best.

Vannie, I was interested in breeding a very nice Fred female to Wrangler. Since I would be doubling up on Queen I trying to make sure what she was bringing to the table, especially their track and hunt speed. Thanks for the info. What did you choose and how are they turning out?

Bark

I have a grnitech pkc ch direct off Bark!
Bark x Trackman's Famous Sassy{direct littermate to Cold sweat}
'pr' Grnitech. Pkc Ch Skuna River Midnite Moe
Very accurate, big mouth, big motor and independent.
He's alone or they came to him.

Throws big mouths, accurate, early starting and naturally independent offspring.
Moe has 40 pups on the ground, don't know of any "duds".
5 yrs. old, want to do more winning with him.
Don't plan to make him a full time "stud" dog yet.
Will breed him to a nice female from time to time.

Moe has the right traits and passes them on to his offspring.
Moe can improve the Walker breed.

Obviously many of you have never hunted with a lot of Fred dogs . The basic Fred dog has plenty of tools and talent . I bred quite a few females to my old Bear dog (son of Fred )and the best crosses came off Nailor or whitey females!! I'd look at something Nailor or look at something Whitey like stylish tank or hillbilly deluxe . Breeding to something with way too much trailing ability to a Fred dog would be really stupid idea . Or you can just take the old fashioned route and breed to a real coondog you may know of locally, which is what I would do

Dwils

I plan to breed my Bark male to my "Whitey"/Great White Shark female!
But...she's a little more of the trailing type than he is.

I have also heard this, my female is already Fred x nailor, so I was thinking of breeding her to something Whitey, but maybe that would be throwing to much into the mix?
