Been there 3 times, had a blast. Brooklyn is a small town but very busy during race week.

No I haven't been to that race for over 8 years. Last race I went too was Bristol at the fall race same year Earnhardt was killed at daytona.

Racing just isn't the same to me anymore.

The reason I'll never go back to MIS is the drive in and out of that track. Those roads are too small and too few to handle that kind of traffic. I get road rage bad sitting still on the road for hours. I'd rather stay home and watch it. Fun once you're there and would probably be fun to stay the whole weekend but driving in for that race is ridiculous.

For comparison, I've been to Rockingham when they used to have a cup race and you could drive in and out and never come to a complete stop! That was a great track.

Best way to go to races is plan on staying at the track. Tail gate party!
Lots of fun.
Todd you are right, traffic back several years ago in Michigan was pretty easy. They didn't make you go a certain way, now they do.

Tv is good but you sure don't get the smell of fuel and rubber in the air. I was covered in rubber there one year. I had a blast.

Now if you want a real party go to Talladega and get infield passes if you can. Big time cook outs and plenty of scenery for all the guys after the party starts if you know what I mean!

Been there done that. Just that 16 hour drive one way bites!
