the many BANNINGS here

Long time lurker, first time signed up. It's interesting to view threads, especially ones that have been resurfaced throughout the years. It's even more interesting too see the word "banned" under many a posters name.

What's up with all these bannings? It looks like UKC is trying to purge some real knowledge on these forums. Some of those banished, I have never read where they were causing trouble, yet the obvious shyt stirrers seem to run wild here with immunity.

Just, what if you had Merchant, House, J. Monroe, etc., posting here and sharing their knowledge. All of a sudden "poof" some moderator in the shadows decides to ban them? I'm seeing the same knowledge drain here with some of our modern day Merchants, Houses and Monroes getting banished.

What's the deal?

i'm not a moderator but in all the years i've belonged i've learned this much most deserve it !calling people names foul language naming people by name you think wronged you they will give a temporary ban let you back do it again there gone ps. i miss L Lyle he cracked me up !

I don't know why they banned him the first time but I'm sure all the other times it was because it was so obvious that it was this same guy they had just banned, just back with a new name.
They dont ban the name, they ban the person.
