Ole South Rebel

My dad is Lamar Quinn and he trained and bread Ole South Rebel for years. I would like to find a offspring of rebel to give my father as a gift. He has had many health issues and Rebel was his pride and joy. Any info would be much appreciated.

This is Rex, a 3yr old male off my female and Rebel (semen) I just finished to GRNITECH last week at Winter Classic. He belongs to my buddy Chad St. John, we plan on breeding some pretty nice females to him and I would be glad to help your dad out on a pup when they hit the ground.

Thanks guys, Rex is a pleasure to hunt. It's been a fun ride granding this dog out. Rex was born right here at my place 3yrs ago. He won hunts in 5 different states. I've hunted this dog in the flat hardwoods of Indiana, the rough mountains of Tennessee and Kentucky, the swamps of South Carolina and the Mississippi delta, he was the same dog in every place, he treed coon. Been in 4 PKC hunts and won $$ at two. Dont say a lot on track, screaming bawl, open here and there, Big screaming locate that will pull dog if they can't handle pressure. This dog is smart, no lead needed on him, can call him across water , he aims to please. He's not perfect and may not be the best but we're proud of him. Hunted him Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday in MS at Winter Classic. He made 7 total trees, 5 coon and 2 legit dens. Every tree was alone.

Wish you had posted this sooner my sons brother-in- law sold his just a few days ago and dad sold one not long ago . Both directly off Rebel semen the litter that David Griner crossed they 2 yr olds . If I can track down where they are I will get back to you .

Thanks Jackson87, Don't wana hi-Jack Mr. Quinn's thread but I'll take anyone huntin with Rex, hopefully people bring some good females soon. I never got to hunt with OL SOUTHS STYLISH REBEL but I sure do like the level headed coondogs he reproduced. Hope Mr. Quinn finds him a good one, I've got my eye out for him.

had one out of Rebel and my Whitey gyp, huge hunting dog, independent almost to a fault and huge bawl mouth both ways! Very good natured and calm around the house! Wish I had another like him! That Rex dog is a nice looking hound
