Coonhound Movies?
Are there other movies that feature coonhounds besides 'Where the Red Fern Grows', 'Sounder', and 'Savage Sam'? I mainly want coonhound movies, but any with foxhounds or beagles would interest me too.

I have seen that "Twilight Zone" episode, and it is my favorite episode of that series for sure!!
I have never seen "Soggy Bottom USA" or "Voice of Bugle Ann". I will check those out. Thanks!
The Yearling with , I believe, Gregory Peck has bear hunting with hounds in it.
I've seen "The Yearling", but I don't recall any hounds. I could be wrong though.
Yes, The Yearling does have a hound or two in it. Just watched it (again) a couple months ago.
There's also a really cool Twilight Zone episode called Jess-Belle that has a hound in it. It's a shame they don't show that one more.

Several of the old Disney shows/movies have hounds. One of them is The Ghost of Cypress Swamp, based on the book Weakfoot by Linda Cline, later retitled The Ghost of Cramer's Island.

Movies
"The hound who thought he was a raccoon". Cool old Movie, Disney came out with it in the 60's I believe.

Thanks!! I definitely want to see that one. I'm also excited about seeing "Voice of Bugle Ann". That one sounds like a good one. I've read some reviews of the book, and some people say it is as good as "Where the Red Fern Grows". Is it?
Kurt Russel was in one and for the life of me I don't remember name but there is bear hunting in that set in NC mountains.
psd
The name was WINTER PEOPLE
I have now watched "The Hound That Thought He Was A Raccoon", "The Fox and the Hound", and "Soggy Bottom U.S.A." I had never seen those three, and I enjoyed them.
I have not been able to find "The Voice of Bugle Ann" or "Hound Dog Man". Does anyone know where I could find those? If anyone is able to make me a copy, I will pay for the dvd and shipping. Those two sound like they would be very good!
Cartoons
I remember a lot of cartoons growing up that featured hounds, i.e. beagles, coonhounds, and foxhounds. There was a really good "Droopy" cartoon episode that featured foxhounds and a fox hunt. Droopy of course was a basset hound, but this episode has him running with a pack of foxhounds trying to catch a fox. I loved this episode as a kid because it totally centers around the dogs!! This used to be on youtube, but it was taken off.
There was another cartoon about a hound. He and his master arrive at a hunting lodge late at night. The dog wants to immediately start hunting, but his master tells him that they both need to go to sleep now and will get the rabbit in the morning. The rabbit hears the master tell his dog that he must get a good night sleep, or he will never be able to catch the rabbit. So, the episode centers around the rabbit doing everything possible to keep the dog awake all night. By morning, the dog is too tired to hunt. It ends with him and the rabbit sleeping in the rabbit's bed in the rabbit hole.
