Thanks Sam and Johnny.

Sam, I like that optic real well when it is dim it has a good flood, but when you go to the high it has enough of a hot spot to shine a good distance. Also, I don't know if luck has much to do with how you roll

The Cajun bayou

Why do you have the colored led under the head peice? What is the reasoning for this, over the colored led in the big head? I know the Sunfire is built some what similiar,I am not sure why.

With the color modules under the heads they are tucked away and don't stick out for anything (like brush) to catch them. All of the color is produced from the module underneath. The main head only produces white.

Thanks,
Rob

Sorry about that, after re-reading your question I think that I got what you are asking. We don't put the colored LED in the main head because it would affect the spot of your white light, or if you added a color LED along with the white LED then the color would have a black hole in the middle of the light unless you added a diffuser.
