R.I.P. Gr.Ch.Gr.Nt.Ch. Digger's Blue Easy

I lost my good female and the best female I have ever followed.

She died unexpectably on October 8, 2103 from unknown causes.

I want to thank Scott VH fro everything he has done including laying her to rest beside Uncle Pen. What a wonderful view she will have.

Easy was Queen of the 2011 Reunion and only whelped one litter out of Uchtman's So. Blue Clyde.
Mable was one of those pups and she will continue to get better.

I can still hear her getting deep and treed like she liked to do so often!!!

Easy

Its tough to call a man and tell him that the dog he has trusted you to take care of has passed. It was as tough to bury a dog that was a pure pleasure to have around. She was Easy to like and we were really looking forward to the prospect of getting a litter out of her and Banjo.
I had taken her and Banjo to the vet to AI her before she went out of heat on Monday and she was fine. I came home from work on Tuesday and noticed she seemed a little off. She did not eat her food and I called Darren to see if she had done that before when she was in Heat. He said she had not. I told Darren that I had to go to a meeting at 7 and would check on her when I got home and we agreed that if she was not any better I would take her to the vet the next day. I got home after nine and went out to check on her and she had passed.
I appreciate Darrens understanding and I truely feel bad for Him and his Family.

We spend a lot of time with these hounds and you can't help but get attached to some. God knows I wish I still had two of them in the back yard now. Sorry for your loss and hope you find another to take her place.

Thanks a lot to everyone. It is a special dog that find a way into our hearts. As hunters we go through many of them to find that one.
I owned her mother, whelped and raised her, trained and campaigned her.
There was never a dog that matched her name so well. So quiet and calm. Played with the kids like she was a pup, but after dark and unleashed was a whole different dog. Then walk back to truck with you without a leash.

Can't say I will ever have another one like her but I know what to work for.

So sorry to hear this Darren and family! Its amazing how close of a part of the family they can become! I hunted with her once at the zone hunt and she was a really nice hound! Sux that ya only got one litter out of her! Hope ya got one out of her that can fill her tracks!
