Trading in general?

..

Seems like the ones who want to trade for stuff want to trade crap for good stuff. I like to trade my stuff for cash.

Although I'd be open to trying to trade some stuff maybe, I've got a restored tractor and a truck that's falling apart. lol

What you got to trade that can be shipped for reasonable rates?

It does seem that trading is making a come back, probably due to the poor economy.

On another note, BARTER KINGS on TV, great show!

trading is good too because there is not tax involved. i like to trade but i'm so sorry at it i had to stop. i trade from the heart not from the brain.

When I was twelve years old my Parents moved our whole family to Israel for a year as a missions trip. Boy did I learn to barter and trade there! When you go into just about any store hardly anything has a orice and the things that do are most definately up for offers. The things I learned there have served me well throughout my life. My wife seems almost embarassed to make an offer or haggle at a yard sale but not me!

I've done a lot of trading through the years. Mostly guns. If I had every gun I've ever had in my possession I think I could arm our entire military.

When I was a boy, my grandfather used to take me to trade days. He loved to swap dogs but honestly, he got skinned just about every time he traded. When I got old enough, I got a good dog and kept it. We are talking about over 50 years ago. There are not too many trade days around any more and if I get a dog I don't like, I have other ways to deal with the problem. I have went to trade days and bought guns off of the hood of a truck.

With that being said, I have taken in guns on dogs before but I don't sell too many dogs and most guys have cash. I pay cash if someone has a dog I think I might need.

I have a couple of buddies that I trade stuff with from time to time. They are old timers and we just trade to be doing something.
