tar heel or dizzy?

before i ask i know some are gonna say to pick a dog with the traits you like in your dog. i like every thing about my dog. im asking about these two dogs cause they are in my dog allready. tar heel on top and dizzy on bottom. thats were my ? is. i want to breed her to keep the same line going. so witch is better tar heel or dizzy. when i say better i mean all around better. her ped is full of house blood, sacket. dohoneys, yakin river, multable times. top and bottom. im just trying to keep a good thing going. like i said i like every thing about my dog.

As soon as figure out how to do it I will. I tried once and it wouldn't let me paste it on here. Not the best when it comes to this computer stuff.

With Nitro your getting Sackett Jr. and with Dizzy your getting Sackett Jr. and Harry. Really depends on what the bottom side of the stud looks like. Your getting Sackett Jr. with either one. So what the bottom side of the stud has is what you really need to look at. I would suggest going with a Harry Stud. Your female already has Sackett Jr. twice so if you went with a Harry stud you would double up your Harry blood, too. I would look for one directly off of Harry like Judge Dredd, Harry Bawls, Peirce's Style, Cutter, Honey Creek Harry, and there are several others that are younger seman pups out of Harry. Just depends on what you want to add on the bottom side of the stud. I know with Dredd you would be adding Harry off of his top side and Sackett Jr. and Nailor off of his bottom side. The pups would have Harry two times, Sackett Jr. three times, and Nailor one time.

i think i follow you,but why would the bottom side of the stud be where i should look. wouldnt the top side be just as important as the bottom. they say when you get back past the 4th generation that its not as imortant but if you look at her ped on back past the 4th you see alot of the same on top and bottom. if they werent so similer i dont think id have as hard of a time trying to figue this out. thanks for your imput. i will look into so harry dogs.

I would find you a nitro stud. My dogs carry nitro and 3 generations from him still show those traits. Good looks and one bark pressure tree dogs that like to have a coon. There is a dog at stud directly out of him in PA. I believe his name is Nitro's Bigtime Gomer he was on the walker board. Hope this helps.

The dog that is at stud in PA is not Nitro's Bigtime Gomer, Gomer is a grandson to Tar Heel Nitro, not directly out of him, and he is here in NC.

Our SID dog is also direct out of Nitro as well.

The dog you are thinking about is GrNiteCh GrCh 'PR' Rock Springs Black Magic HTX AKA Hank. Hank is directly off of Tar Heel Nitro.

We have an 8 month old female out of Hank and a female out of Elk Creek Rattler. She is doing great for her age. This link below will take you to Hank's thread. I highly recommend him for a Nitro bred stud for your female.

i looked at hank and he looks like a good way to go. i seen were it said no brood bitches, i dont comp hunt yet and not sure if i will so she has no tittles ,does that make her a brood bitch. i watch the video of hank treeing, dont wanna say this to be rude or mean but i think maybe she might give hank a run for his money on the tree. that said he still sounded good. i like a good hard fast chop on the tree.

Your dog already has Harry in her. So if you breed to a Harry stud then you would want to look at the bottom side ( Dame's side ) of the stud's pedigree to see if it might be something you are wanting to add. Bionic Bill is in Virginia and is Nitro on top and bottom. I think he is a grandpup to Nitro. Nitro breeding= Sackett Jr. Dizzy= Harry and Sacket Jr. Just really depends on what you want more of. Do you want more Harry in the pups or more Sackett. I don't care what anybody says, all the dogs in your dogs pedigree have contributed to your dogs ability. Some good, some bad, some more than others, but all those dogs contributed.

i guess now the hard part is trying to figure out of all them in there witch ones were the better contributers to how she is, color-track ability; treeing- size- chop on treeand track. am i right so far in what im thinking? she is a blanket back readed loud on track and fast hard steady chop on tree. 57lbs which i like the bigger dogs. meduim noise, when she runs at track her head is on the ground like she is looking at it. not mean at all, but a coon would say differant, haha. she is a good kill dog. so me not knowing how the dogs in her pedigree where in those traits is really what i need to find out. i like all of what she is.she not perfict at all but no dog is. its just what i like. i have kids that want pups so really that is why i would breed to keep the pups and give to them . at least 2 or 3 of them. well maybe 4. just depends on how they are. any one that has been around them dogs in her ped is the ones im trying to reach so i know what they are like but not knowing who they are makes it hard to do . lol thanks alot you have givin me something to consider.

By 'no brood bitches', I just mean that I don't want females that can't do anything in the woods and are only puppy factories to show up to breed. If it's a female that you hunt and are wanting to breed to reproduce something similar, by all means, come on up.

Magic is here for your inspection, come on up, we'll be happy to let him prove himself. His strength is his track speed and quick locating, not how hard he trees.

Thanks for considering Magic.
