One registered dog?

If there is only one dog at a hunt can it hunt alone and place? I went to a hunt few weeks ago and was the only reg dog for a while. They were telling me I couldn't hunt. Two others eventually entered. Just wondered if it could have been done

Yes you had every right to hunt. It only takes 1 dog.

Yeah, you could have hunted. the moh probably just didn't want to set around and wait on 1 dog to get back ,thats most likely why you were told you couldn't hunt alone.

Well As far as I knew the clubs have to go by ukc rules. It was probably gonna be pretty bad after I drove an hour and them saying I couldnt hunt. Felt bad cause a guy entered a pup and got it ate up

If I'm not wrong there has to be two reg dogs to hunt. Nitech can go out alone.

Thats what they were saying also. I couldn't find it in the old rule book but didn't have a new one. I doubt the club had one either

The reason I stated the way I did. I went to Winnfield LA and was the only registered dog. I was told I couldn't hunt if I was the only registered dog. A guy at their club went and got his registered dog. He said I had driven to far not to be able to hunt. What's funny about it is the LA State ASSOC President gave me this information.

I know if things go right the dog would earn points but do they get credit for their first place win requirement.

Well sure they do. However with the recent performance stock out there I sure wouldn't want to get 1/10th of a point on my first place

??????? If there were two dogs in this cast and one of them was yours.... Did your dog "eat up" this pup?
