i agree with the gun part myself but i didnt know thanks
I have seen casteration completely cure this problem and I have seen it not work at all ! If Your male is only ill towards other males I think You have a chance . You have nothing to lose cause he should NOT be bred anyway. If your a farm Boy and worked on pigs, calves, etc. you can do this yourself. Its a very simple operation and dog will be back to hunting in short time . May take a little longer for his attitude to change because no effect will be made until he no longer has male hormones in him .
Depends alot of his illness if it is food oriented no problem just take food away every time you feed him but if he is ill to females you have a very big problem usually not fixable if it is towards males you have to nip it as quick as possible. If it is towards people shoot him now get a new dog and go on to get a better answer you need to be more specific about his nature
shoot em is the best medicine. They need to be culled.

I have seen 3 different dogs in my 45 years of coon hunting broke from this. A female would reach over and bite another dog standing on the tree close to her. WE took a club and hit her as hard as we could and knocked her out for a little while. She came too and lived several more years and never did it again. She was a top dog. Used a rifle barrel one night same way on a male dog, did not knock him out but he had a headache for awhile. It broke him to and he made a Gr. Nt. What you have to have in your mind is they are no good to you starting fights so go ahead and try to split their head open you have nothing to lose.

Don't shock him that usually makes it worse. Cull him
The first time you notice it you need to put your foot in him. No tolerance. They need to learn that in no uncertain terms. If it 's still a problem, shoot him. There are to many decent dogs out there, no need to mess around with a mean one. If for some reason you don't shoot him, pull his fangs. At least then he can't do any damage to someone elses hound.

blah blah blah blah. it kills me when people say bullet between the ears.
if they are young enough you can work most of it out of them , but more times then not you end up with a lightbroke dog or a dog that always is loaded cocked and ready to fire at anything that stares crosseyed at em!!
sometimes young dogs just grow out of it, just a cocky youngdog stage.

Ill Dog
Seen some fixed and it stopped and i agree with MR. Garrison and I to have fixed ill dogs. If those to don't work its the grave. Muzzle the dog for awhile to.
