under attack! aliens?

something been pounding on the roof it started yesterday we caught 2 3/4 inches worth. i didnt dump the gauge lastnight it started again about 4 this mornin and while go i dumped a little over 4 inches out the gauge. its still pounding on the roof. some folks to our east got 11 inches yesterday and getting more today there is no telling what their totals will be. after 2 years of no rain and all ponds and lakes dried up that hadnt been in years they should be catching some water now. some calves and some hounds have never seen rain it their lives down this way. lol sure is nice to finally get some rain not to good for travelers with the flash flooding. lots of washouts but we will take the washes just glad to have some rain to fill up the dried up holes. it should make coonhuntin alot better when it lets up so a person can drop a dog loose. here are a few pictures from the field in front of the house a few minutes ago.

Whistle Pig there ought not be a grasshopper or bug left in the neighbor hood. they do good work at takeing care of hoppers and other bugs. they will go thru a garden and never touch nothing exept the bugs.

Doogie the ol creeks was a little high lastnight. treed one in about 15 minutes or less. hardest part was getting to the dogs. dogs wasnt far but had to walk to find a spot to cross the creek. we loaded up and came in figured one was good enough. monday night the creeks should be drained down enough where a person dont have to walk so far looking for a spot to cross. the two stock ponds that been dry for the lastyear where we dropped loose was running over.

Hope everything is going GREAT FOR YOU & your young bride, is the HONEYMOON OVER YET???????????????????????? LOL

hey JW ol Zero could take a little moss and mud and make you a coon weather conditions didnt bother him. that corner post is the neighbors. that old fence needs more then just straightening that post. lol the Honey Moon is still in full bloom.
