I Can't Believe They Remember How.

To actually tree a coon... Its been awhile since I turned them loose but they still remember how to look up.

Good pics HOBO. Fine looking hounds. Those are some nice woods too. I dont see the briars and water or the thick,in your face undergrowth I am used to.

The sad thing about those woods is they are cutting them now. Acutally the tree behing Pride in the second pic was nothing but a stump. I did't know they were cutting it.

HOBO, looks like you had a better night than we did.

We went and first drop had a split, probably 50 or 75 yards apart both of them on legitimate dens, decent track too. They were on top of the mountain and the snow was already froze back over. We was struck within 10 minutes or so I would say. Good drop, but no coon.

Second turn out the dogs never got a bark.

It was 25 and already 2300 so we decided to call it a night LOL.

I am gonna go tonight and see if I can see one.

We turned Pride and some Ol dang BOOOOOOTIC loose first..... They worked a cold track by the river and Pride hit up once and moved. Then they started working the track back towards us. Thats when Ol BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO figured he had taken the track as far as he could and locked down...... And then Pride didn't wanna be left out and he locked down on one about 30 yards in front of Ol BOOOOOOOOOOO.... I walked into Prides tree tied him and a quick glance at the tree had my heart sink... I just knew Ol Boooooooooooooooooooooo was gonna make him look bad.

I left his tree and headed to Boooooooooooooooooo's tree to take my medicine like a man........................... BUT WAIT WHATS THIS????? Surely Ol Boooooooooooooooooooooooo aint treeing WALKERSTYLE ?????????? Yup it was SLICK AS A RIBBON..... WHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW DODGED A BULLET THERE. LOL

You don't know HOW bad I was wanting to find Prides coon. LOL

And that is what they say is
