just got a jammer pup.. wondered if anyone else were hunting them.. on big game or coon.. and how they are doing? i love mine!! and hes only 8 weeks old..

hey mel, he is a son of hardwood hook.. dam is yadkin river bred..he is owned by ron carpenter of sylva NC.

That is where I have heard of him. I am getting a pup out of Hook JR, she is coming from Ron's house.. She should be here tonight or tomorrow. So she is not off of Jammer but they are related I am going to be using her on big game

mel, i was going to get a pup out of hook jr.. i had arrangments for pup.. and things werent happening like they were suppose to.. ron offered me pick of litter out of jammer... so i took it.. my pups mom is a daughter of hook. so its a half brother half sister cross... both dams are yadkin river bred.. that is what i am running now.. we run bear and cat here in VT. this is a pic of my pup. i would like to see yours.

We have actually had 2 litters from Jammer. One litter is just now 2 and the other litter is 9 months. We are not dog men but the pups catch on early and learn very quickly what is wrong and what is right. Our female is a Lone Pine/Finley River bred female. Several pups from the second litter are running and treeing their own coon right now and doing it right. The 2 year old litter also started early and have been very easy for us to work with. We still have 2 of them and if you enjoy a big bawl mouth on track and a hard steady tree chop and seeing a coon in the tree then I would recommend Jammer to anyone with the right female.

thanks for the info.. i actually got this pup to hopefully breed to my marge dog.. her mother is a daughter of hardwood hook, and cagles stylish clover girl.. we will see... he sure acts good for a littel guy..

My pup is probably from that litter then. I believe (can't find the info right now) that it is also a half brother/sister cross or a uncle/niece cross. The dam is either off Hook or grandaughter to Hook. I have been looking for lines like this for a while to cross on my Walker bobcat dogs here in Oregon. We have some nice dogs in my country but they are all related.. I have high hopes that she turns out for me. I will post a picture of her tomorrow when I get her

hey hannah, thanks! i was planning on coming this weekend.. but.. two females in heat... maybe 3rd... liz kinda looks like she is just coming in.. she only needs i think 5 points to be ch. we will see.. i was hoping to show my audrey pup.. but..shes one of the ones in heat.. so.... not sure yet.. if i will make the trip.. who are you bringing??

Got my pup off of JR yesterday.. Sure is a nice acting pup. She starts winding the housecat and her little tail gets to cranking and she has to try and find him She is a tiny thing with a big deep chest. She has a funny marked face.. We are calling her "Ugly Betty" for now LOL

My Betty pup (off of Junior) is a nice little pup.. She knows what a bobcat is supposed to smell like Seen a couple coon and chewed on them. Real unusual mouth.

And she likes to swim

She may not be the prettiest thing in the world (Clover dogs aren't anyways right) but she is built nice and smart as a whip...
