You live in Oklahoma. You should see one every time you go outside.

We are planning a hostile takeover of the redbone breed !!

I have always heard that when you get paid to do something that you like it isn't a job.

Paid handlers are crooks! Just ask this board.

I think that Tarbaby's training skills are what are being paid for not his handling skills. If you believe this forum, all handlers period are crooks.

Sometimes tar hunts Sombody else's dog he likes for free just because it's pretty neat to hunt a good dog.

I haven't charged anybody in years I appreciate a good dog regardless of color. When they are treed 500 yrds away I can't tell what color they are lol.

Tar

That is one of your very best posts, it says more about you that all your other posts combined. It tells me that you are indeed a real coonhunter and love the sport itself. Dave

Dave it's just not me ! We went yesterday got some of those little dogs with no tails to squirrel hunt lol. Met anouther man you could tell he loved his dogs. Got up this morning went rabbit hunting with jimmy they got after a swamp rabbit and was honken on him !! I was watching jimmy out of the corner of my eye he is a lot older than me we have coonhunted for 35+ yrs together but the dogs were coming right at us and he stood up and says get ready bubba he was excited. Ralph and I are going tonight to the honey hole coon hunting. See if there never was anouther coonhunt. All my freinds on here we pick on each other and here at home have a love of the sound of a hound.

I was born loving that sound that I can't explain it.

My dad coon hunted, so I grew up in this sport. I have had beagles, squirrel dogs, bird dogs and coon hounds all my adult life. I really enjoy hunting dogs of all kinds, like you said, I was born with this love of the hunting dogs. I enjoy a good dog of any breed regardless of who owns the dog. It's good to see others who feel the same way. Dave

One of the best nights I ever had in the wood was when we had some kids over at our house from our youth ministry. It was cold and I asked them if they had ever coon hunted and none had so we found extra jackets, hoodies, boots, flashlights and then loaded up a very young Frog Dawg. Frog did her job and got treed with a coon. She is just to the right of the young man in the grey hoodie. It was a great night.
