I have seen more single coons out between 6 and 8 running the field edges. It has been good working the young dogs before dark.

I see coon all hours of the day here. N.E. Ohio But that is every year past also it is very common. When I was a lot younger and had more time I would hunt coon in the daytime in certain woods to watch a young dog work. It was kinda fun!

TELL ALL THE NEIGHBORS WHAT YOU JUST HAPPENED, that just don't happen around here. you just don't know how luckey you are I only wish I could get invited to a place like that just once before I, O well you know the rest.
Let me tell you how bad it is around here and i go hunting about 4 nights a week and don't hunt on a Sunday, I will bet the place you can't see 2 coons in a night driving around the 4 counties in our are. we just indure and enjoy the hunt I GUESS !!!!! LUCKY YOU

HL lives in what I call thick coon . Ive hunted all around down there. While not as many as some of eastern ga and areas southwest of there. Definitely not the thinnest in the state... I still try and get after em though..

In Georgia do you get a extra tax break for living in "the thinnest coon" or something? Maybe its the dog...???...

I'm not joking, we don't have coons like the farming country in the midwest but we've got a lot of coons and I've got several places to hunt. More than we can hunt in two or three nights
