You dont train the natural tree dogs outa pepper dogs...you just expose them.It has to be in em or it just dont happen...accurate stay put naturals that go hunt.

My pepper pups are clickin...not worried about tail length....eye lash counts...chin hairs..or anything else that dont matter but will they tree coon...and get it done in a hurry.What some wise men say is the cart before the horse.Spend to much time worrying about how and why and get nothing done.Just keep on workin and makin it happen 1 dog or a few at a time.Go team red dog.

Good luck John...one of the best crosses I have seen in a long time.They are goodens...real goodens.Your Talker-Brians Doc and Brents Pepper Time are some top young males dogs period.Most dont understand and most will never get a chance to see such a litter that can truly impact a breed as much.We all would like to think we can and have or will.,..but truth is in what is...and what aint.I have been hunting with some red dogs and seeing with my own eyes.I dont hardly listen to much anymore as some dont have what I need or any idea how to get it.They think they do.I just keep breeding for better red ones.Maybe someday I can create that impact. Not as most avg. and satisfied.
