dog crapping in dog house
Any one ever dealt with this and if so how do you break it or can you break it. I have never had one do it before
Lower the ceiling is the only thing i can think of. I had one that peed in his house all the time, i'd dump all bedding disinfect and remove all odors and he'd do it all over again. He didn't stay around long, the way i figure if they're not smart enough not to sh!t where they sleep i don't wanna deal with them anyways.
i would start feeding the dog in the dog house.

I was thinking the same thing about being smart. I have had him for 2 months and he has only done it twice. He is a pup but its irritating

Put his food dish in the box. If he poops in it after that I'd say he's to lazy to care there for probably not gonna make a good coon dog.
I used to have a male dog that was a pretty good dog. He would stand and pee in his own water bucket. Never figured out how to make him stop. He must have been kin to Bear Grylls!

Don't know if coincidencest are the dogs just couldn't stand smell of another and seem to mark it of course thisihave only seen with males!!!

Yea there was another dog in there. I do have a house that has never been used maybe I will try that out.

like was said, put his feed in there...they are usually smart enough not to crap where they eat....mine was going in the truck box...i fed him in there 1 time and he doesnt do it now if we dont go far....
i gotta start letting him out before hunting because he always gotta go and if i do go far he might go..more my fault then his..i watch him on the first drop when he doesnt go in the box and he DOES have to go...he is smart enough to lay around and sleep in the day and i have to get him up and out of the pen to go hunting...i need to let him out and let him run and "go" before i load him...

crapping
Make the dog house just big enough for the dog to get in. he wont have room to crap .
Re: crapping
quote:I would recommend the same. My wife raises toy breeds and you see it a lot with them(( aka not the smartest class of dogs))) . As long as you put the in a crate just big enough to get in and turn around, the crapping will stop..
