Has there ever been a O/B hunt

Is there any OWNER/ BREEDER hunts out there. I mean you have to own the sire and the dam, both parents will be in your name. I think this hunt would give a lot of credit to those people hunting there own bloodlines. I would be willing to travel to a hunt like this.

I agree.
The problem would be getting enough dogs to have a hunt. I mean how many out there own both parents and hunt a pup off them IN THE HUNTS? Very few that I know of.
But yeah, it's an interesting idea.

How many can we handle at once? I think it would be groovy! I do beleive there would be few that would qualify to come.

Dan Dogs

I think I will try to start something. Should we make it a little tougher yet, like just a plus/minus hunt. Majority either see's the coon or sorry it's minus. This eliminates a lot of well it could be there. That's how we roll the ball around here and it's fun. What time of the year are we all thinking, for this event. I do have to out cross one more time for my breeding blood. It will either be CLEAN or BONE COLLECTOR. I want to take a look at some more pups out of these two dogs. You see what my BUDDY dog throws, do you like what you see.

sign me up. use standard UKC rules, have two [or more] classes based on number of dogs that are from your lineage in a 5 generation pedigree. I have a nice enough male that I have owned 6 dogs in his previous 3 generations, and a nice young female off of him.
Maybe breed days should consider adding this type of hunt on Thursday night?

Sire , Dam and Pup should have to hunt and points would add up for a Family score.

I am hunting a pup right now. I own the mom and dad and grandmother. I will push him in the hunts soon. He is 10 months old, so with a kill season on him he will be ready....
