A Great Weekend....

Well Oaks was the best yet and as usual Todd and the gang ran a top notch event with the help of the Wayne County Coonhunters Association. We ended up drawing Long Ears on Friday night in our Nite champion cast and had a fantastic hunt seeing quite a few coon. Congratulations Long ears on the cast win hope we draw you next year maybe we will be packing a coondog next time...lol... You know what they say about paybacks.....lol..... HOBO, Skinner and Clint Smith...These are great guys, glad to have met ya'll in person and look forward to many visits in the future with you guys. I cant wait for the all Boone dog hunt this fall, I will be packing some POWER...lol...Oh and by the way HOBO...you missed out....Skinner took us all out for a bean, a biscuit and even paid the tab!!! lmao Talk to you guys soon...

yeap....

we had a great time at Oaks. Thanks to UKC and Wayne Co. Coonhunters for putting on another great event this year. Seems there was a larger crowd this year than last. Everything was great. We booked our same room for next year.

Sorry you missed out Hobo I thought you were with Mike. You missed it we figured out amonst us we had three dogs that could fly, five that can walk on water and a kennel full that can't miss. We had a great time. Next year I'm going to wear my hip boots cause it got deep.

To everyone that stopped to comment about Highball, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. When everybody says you got the best built walker they ever saw, it is quite humbling. Thanks, but again he is not for sale.

Walkerfied, did you get the hound? It rained on us most all the way back. Great meeting you and all the others.

It was great to meet you Walkerfide and also goo dto see Skinner and Clint again,and also great to meet everyone that stopped by to say hello.
Figures I would miss out on a free meal.....I stayed at the fairground and we had pizza delivered oh yeah and they also brough a can of Skoal to one of the guys! I think he's ready to move to In.LOL Maybe I'll get to tag along next time and I MIGHT even foot the bill..........Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We are working on the new hound as I type this. Could it be possible that a double Boone bred stud would be coming to Oklahoma??? I would say YES!!! Spoke with Mike and my Dad, they advised me to run with it.

HOBO you made it home safe I see. The LOBO hat has really turned some heads and thanks for the free pup, lmao. The pizza doesnt sound too bad but what we had was better. I will go ahead and volunteer Mike and Darrel to buy the Steaks next year.....lol

OK we need to get this all Boone hunt rolling....When, Where, and how many nights? I have to schedule myself a month or two ahead with all of the big hunts coming up, I think we could have a good turn out, there were alot of ppl interested at Oaks.

Hey Long Ears I looked for ya at Oaks. Hobo tried to explain to me where you were set up at, but as usual I could'nt find you. Maybe we will meet the next time.

We can have the hunt here if yall like. I have about 1800 acres to hunt on maybe I won't get us lost !! Not to many hotels though but between me and my neighbors we could put up a few folks. I say we have it at Mike's house. Everyone seems to know where it is and I guess we're all within fairly good driving distance. Besides Mike has plenty of kennel space for us to sleep in. Anytime is good for me except for the weekend of Oct. 18th. I'm sure Mike would'nt mind if we let him know ahead of time and I think he'd be tickeled to death to have the Boone bred dogs in one spot. Just my thoughts I'm game for anything.

I have around 1100 acreas of prime hunting that we can turn loose on and alos have plenty of hotels/motels close by.....Also there are several good places to eat around here....As I know alllllll of them Boone guys love to eat......ROFL

You guys cant agree on nothin'...lol...Where we have it doesnt matter to me. Have truck and hound will travel. And yes though it's hard to tell by looking at me I do love to eat!!! lmao Once again Hobo dodged the bill at the steak house but his day is coming and by the way Hobo I like mine rare. Skinner I will start the Boone pedigree post today and start to make a list of hunters willing to show up for the "Big One". I think Mike will be over whelmed at how many will show up. I hope Mike brings "SLIM" to hunt you guys will crap when you see him and hear him. Well lets get the ball rolling.
