Mr. Hardhead

wanted me to post a few reminders for the members of last night's cast.

4e. When a dog quits a trail that is being worked and comes in he will be minused ...
4i. If a handler strikes or trees the wrong dog, the Judge will award points called and minus them. ...
11. No trees to be climbed or cut. ...
17. ... Dogs at tree must be leashed. ...

And for that comment about " majority rules ", YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, BROTHER.

Janet

The majority doesn't rule, the MOH rules. And UKC will have no problem overruling all of them.

Three say plus the coon, one says he must have parachuted into that tree. What other decision can a MOH make ?

You quoted 4 rules. Three of them are in no way judgement calls, the 4th is barely a judgement call. That was the basis for my comment.

Just reminders for the cast members

LOL. Barry said you would have to had been there to get the full comprehension of the point he was trying to make. One four dog registered cast with four "buddies" hunting together. Well, they were "buddies" when they left the clubhouse to go to the woods.

Sure I agree, Some just think PKC is so great and they have there issues, and few problems ar the same. LOL I ve seen many arguments in both.

Hunt

There were three nice dogs and a redbone. The cast winner had 1st and 1st on the only coon seen. He finished with 75+, winning 1st place and finishing to nt champion with 2-1st and a 2nd. Rule interpretations vary regardless of registry. Some work within the rules we are given and some try to work the rules.

Congrats to Mike Phipps and his english, Jesse. Good luck next weekend walker boys.

What happened to the the 150+ points ?

Why not work the rules, if there where 5 minutes before the hunt was over and I had the lead and could use 10 minutes to shine I sure would use the rules. Is this not fair ?

UKC message board, you can have a fake name.
PKC is real names only.
Makes a big difference in posting.
