Here in So IL there are some new mines, but those jobs are going fast. I don't know how available the jobs will be but Hush ammunition is starting up a big factory here in Pinckneyville. There will be a lot of new jobs, but the competition for them will be pretty tough.

According to the paper a lady named Carrie Ford is fielding job applicants for the ammunition plant. I don't have a number for her specifically, but from what I understand she is working through the mayor's office and I'm sure if you called them they could put you in touch with her. The number for the mayor's office is 618-357-8927. Hope this helps if you're interested.

PS-We have about 26,000 acres of state park ground (Pyramid State Park) that is open for the public just 5 miles from town. It is loaded with coon! And the number of coon hunters around here is really low. It makes for some great hunting!

There are always jobs available in the agriculture community. Just go to the High Plains Journal website and go under jobs and you will have a few to pick from. Hard workers are hard to find.
