hunting in heat ?

Do you guys use anything to camo your females when they come in heat and you'all have a big hunt comin up? Curious how to do it and what to use. What happens when you get caught?

I wouldn't do it in a hunt, but I've heard of people using Vicks Vapor Rub or vaseline to kill the smell.

I've used Vick's vapor rub when I've been hunting, never had a problem. Just smear it on...

The other day I was working a male with two females. After I got back, I noticed one of the females was in heat. He had never paid any attention to her, all he cared about was the coon. So either I have a gay dog, or maybe he just really really wanted that coon!!!!

i put a good coat of vasoline on a dog then some vicks on her back legs and hit the timber. if a dog still bothers her you get scratched but if not there is nothing that can be done. people do it all the time and yes i have done it for a big hunt before

Vicks Vicks Vicks, I've used it on a 4 dog cast with 3 males at the beginning and end of a heat cycle and never wound up with any pups... gotta be careful though...

i wouldnt do it in a hunt but i use vicks to pleasure hunt.
