Papers and their New/Old looks

What does everyone think about the looks of the Papers now. I know that a bunch of people around the house won't send theirs in too get new ones because they don't want the white and purple papers.

I can't understand the problem people have with the "COLOR" of the papers. The same people was tell you "Papers Never Treed A Coon" but then turn around and complain about them.

i could care less if they were written on toilet paper as long as they truly represent the dog there supposed to,however you have to admit the original papers with the gold trim were much nicer and were of better quality than the new ones i often wonder what the cost differance is

I work in a print shop... I know the white paper is ALOT cheaper. They could dress it up a lil with some different color inks.

The papers don't mean anything as far as what there printed on and it's not a big big deal to me . However the new papers do look CHEAP to me. JMO the old ones where alot more official looking.

The new papers do not reflect the quality of an organization such as U.K.C. . The United Kennel Club deserves better representation of it's self than this type of paper.It looks cheap to me. I will gladly pay a couple extra dollars if needed.

Paper

UKC messed up changing the color of the papers in my opinion. I personally think they loooked a lot better the way they were before, but it was there choice. JMO

I don't care for them much. I guess we have just gotten acustomed to the classy looking papers. We all know the papers don't tree coons. But, I don't think this is just a coonhound breed issue alone. When you have accomplishments that you have worked hard for no matter what kind of dog it is, it's always been a little bonus to have the bragging rights on papers. These look more like a 'demotion' when having your accomplishments added.

So just how often do you all actually pull those papers out and look at them once you stuff them in the holder? My guess is most people hardly ever look at them again. Why would you need to? You have the easy entry card.

I will say that I liked the gold colored paper better, but if it means that UKC is keeping the cost of registering a dog down...so be it....I'm fine with it.

My question is has anyone ordered one of the six or seven generation pedigrees since they changed paper? If I'm gonna pay big bucks for a piece of paper, I'd like for it to look nice.....

About every time i sell a pup or breed a female ,someone wants to look at the papers......Im like joe if it means reg. is cheaper than good.......
But if there not cheaper than i think they look crapy..........

I just got a 6th gen. pedigree and it is on the gold colored paper
