35 lb coon

Our kill season came in on Oct. first. Had a big suprise fall out of a tree tonite. Not sure if I was more suprised or the dog. I weighed him when I got home and he came in at 35 1/2. The biggest had had harvested before this was 31. These pictures don't do him justice. Maybe I will try to take some better ones tommorrow.

He was sitting up on fence row where I turn loose. There was another coon almost as big as him in the tree too.

that is a whopper. we killed one here on a plantation about 10 years ago and he weighed 38 pounds and now he is mounted and the owner put him in the game room in the big house.

You ought to measure him from nose to base of tail and around the biggest part of his body. That'll help me know just how big. I've never seen anything over 30 before.

Also, if you have the measurements, you can brag about it to your friends in 30 years!

Jared, Shaun and I treed 5 coons last night and all 5 I dont think would add up to 35lbs. lol

We shot 4 last night and I don't think they added up to 35 either.

I put him in the freezer, but have pulled him out a bunch of times to show him off.
