its the mind games beginning with the barking dog elvis. when someone hunts against a world champion handler they need every advantage they can get. thanks, you told me how to get under your skin and shake you up some, before we start hunting...just joking with you, we have never even met i don't think, but i would like to one day. i hate a barking dog also, but that doesn't bother me near as bad as the handler that strikes his dog on a cat's meow...anything that makes noise, i know someone who strikes. cost him at times, but he still does it.

The barking is bothersome...makes me wonder why the barking is never corrected.

What puzzles me most of all though is.People who will let their dog (large or small breed) lick/kiss them on the face...some even let their dog drink from whatever the owner is drinking....what the heck are these types thinking...kissing the lips/tongue of an animal that licks its a-ss & under-side.....Yuckahoma!!

I can`t stand a dog barking in the box! I always have a bark collar in the box for just such times. Now the bad part, last night I was hunting my young gyp and she will ever once in awhile start with the barking, well I pulled over and put the bark collar on her and off we went. When we pulled in to the next drop the farmer was at his corn dryer so we stopped and talked a bit. Finally drove to the back of the farm and turned loose. Next thing I hear it sounds like the coyotes are stretching my gyp! I run like heck to her but when I get there she`s feet up on the wood just not barking. Look up and there a coon in the tree, but I still haven`t remembered about the collar. Get back to the truck and my buddy asked what the heck happened, I told him about her being on the tree with a coon and none the worst for wear. As we`re driving away I remember the collar! I felt bad but the next drop she opened good and got treed.

Amen. I cannot believe some people in the camping areas at the larger events. They come in with their fancy camper with air conditioners running and don't hear or care about their neighbors that are tent camping. About 3 years ago at Redbone Days, a person tied 4 dogs to a trader's chain that was closer to our tent than their camper. Those dogs barked almost non stop the whole time. We took them water and food, thinking that would shut them up. 3 dogs may be laying down, but one would jump up to bark, jerking the chain that was tied to the others and all would be barking. I understand that that guy is a nice guy, but I lost a lot of respect for him because of how he treated his neighbors.

peeves me

Is when you say you will guide and they choose another guy that only hunts once in awhile and you hunt 4 to 6 nights a week (looking at coon ever night) and come back with plus points on most of the cast you guide!! Oh yea and a judge that doesn't know the rules !!!!!!!!!!!

id say my biggest is when you have someone invite you to come hunt. you drive a hour(or how ever long) to their house and then they throw all their stuff in your truck and expect you to take them to their spots.. i know a couple guys who constantly do that.

others are

when people let their dog jump up and scratch the heck out my truck and not think anything about it. if you dont care about your trucks good for you but i try and take care of mine.

another is when people who call my dog in a cast and theirs doesnt even sound close..

people who cant be on time.

people who think coon hunting means sit on the tailgate and get drunk

people who own a small plot of land but think they can tell you what to do if your hunting anywhere around it.

when there are a bunch of people who are willing to judge/guide but they pick the most crooked guy to do it.

i think ill stop for now..lol

I'm pretty **** fluffy myself, and I will follow or lead you around anytime you decide you want to go. Everybody doesn't have a high metabolism, and yes I do hunt a 4-6 nights.....sweat like a goverment mule to but it don't matter. Still fluffy

What is it with elvis threads? They all tend to go south so quickly. Looks like this one has turned into a donut tossing contest.

So you are saying that a man who eats 1 meal or 2 small meals a day and walks on average from 2-3 miles a night should be at his ideal weight right? I weight around 240 lbs and am 5'10. I've got friends who eat twice as much as me and don't do squat for exercise that look like bean poles. How can metabolism NOT have anything to do with that? I got a really good friend who eats constantly, sits at a desk, drinks a 6 pack or more a day, and never walks or anything. He is around 200 lbs and is 5'9. And he's 30 so he should be a lard ass if metabolism didn't affect a person's weight, but he's not.
