Alpha Not tracking dog
My alpha will track my dog and show the blue track for a short amount of time then the blue track will disappear. It never loose the dog just the track will go away then it will repeat this. Any help would be appreciated
.
There are several settings for the track ti stay on the screen. Shortest time is ten minutes all the ways up to always be there. You just have to go to map menu and select what you want

Bruce thanks for the reply buts it’s doing it more often than 10 minutes
I'm not that familiar with how it works. Have you tried using other trackers instead? Well that's if you're no longer satisfied with it.

Have you tried to restore defaults. If not go under the menu until it says restore defaults and it sets it back the way it should be.
,
Is it doing it when you zoom in or out. Or is it doing it with you doing anything. If it is doing it when you zoom in or out then yes like white said you can select menu and restore defaults. An update would probably permanently correct the issue.

I don’t see a percent full can you help me out on that one
.
From home page scroll to second page and select trip computer. Hit menu bar then select reset. Third choice is clear current track and it shows you memory used. Reset it

It says 97% reset it back to 0%. I’m thinking that was the problem
.
Dwoods it is important to keep the handheld cleared of old information for it to work properly. You also need to go to track manager and clear all the archived tracks.
