Oil / vitamins

For dogs coat and overall health / performance .......

ANY SUGGESTIONS ??

Posted by Kris Cisna on 10-03-2017 06:47 PM:

I buy pills from walmart. Springvalley is the brand. Fish, flax and borage is what the pills are. The container has 120 soft gels and it cost me around 6 dollars. I feed 1 with the daily feed. You can find salmon oil and others but your going to pay a ton more for it.

What differences have you seen with doing this ?? As well as how long does it take to see improvements ??

Is it in pet section ?? Or pharmacy dept ??

A week

Pet Tabs, Fish oil tabs, Salmon oil, Flax Seed, several others I dont remember. Never could tell any difference with any of them.
The only over the counter pill I have other used that really worked for anything was Cod Liver gell pill for puppies growning too fast-crooked front legs and Clariton pill in summer for allergies.

Pharmacy section. They are human grade. I also give Vitamin E 3x a week. E helps the body utilize the oils.

Beyond skin and hair the heart will benefit from them. Also it helps with inflammation.

It helps a lot of things that you can't see.

I have given them so long I can't say how long, if any, difference I actually saw.

What are the benefits of fish flax and borage??

Posted by Ryan J on 10-03-2017 08:48 PM:

I feed one 1000 mg fish oil gel tab a day for each dog. They eat them like jelly beans. What I have seen is a brighter coat seems to keep there joints in good shape.

You can but I don't know why you would.

Omega fatty acids are known for supporting well-being across multiple body systems.** Omegas are most famous for promoting robust cardiovascular performance, heart health and peak circulation.** Omegas also promote healthy joints, bone health, immune function, eye health, sharp cognitive function

Yes, I do and have for some time now.

So I need to give them vitamin E along with fish flax and borage?

Posted by Kris Cisna on 10-03-2017 09:28 PM:

I do. I mean it isn't absolutely critical but E helps the body utilize the oil. I prefer the added advantage.
