I second the Garmin bark limiter deluxe.
shock system
www.wish.com has some 20-30 dollar rechargable shock systems real cheap. I bought one and works great around the house.

I use a bark collar as well to break a dog from barking...also use a red ryder on the rump and 3 bangs back to back makes it more effective...
something else I have learned...when the pup or dog is barking and you do not have access to reaching out and correcting then it is better to just ignore the pup...if the pup barks and you tell it to shut it and there is no follow thru to make it happen just ignore and walk causally to your red ryder and when he barks tell him to be quiet and correct the pup...
when the pup barks and we walk up to quiet the pup he has gotten your attention and that is what he wants...so the barking continues...
only walk up and pet the pup when he is quiet and he will start associating quiet with pleasant attention...

Get a new dog
Sport dog make good bark collars for around 60.
I've used Sportdog and Garmin Deluxe. They both worked but the Garmins last longer.

quote:i use a good green switch and shut up command . if a dog cant obey the simple shut up command why bother trying to training the idiot to tree a coon .? shut up get in your house are the first building blocks for a hound trained and kept at my house . tone of voice is a great training tool in the woods and the house . hardly ever use electric collar on my hounds and then its just to make the heal command easier to teach .
