Agreed. I refuse to watch another NFL game until those over paid thugs stand up and respect our nation.

Respect

I'm still going to watch Pro Football, do we boycott because of a few and not the majority of Players who do respect the Anthem. Thats not right IMO. Before anyone jumps on me look at my signature block it's retired military with 32 years in. That is what our constitution stands for. And if Trump gets his way our churchs get their rights back to speak on political issues (which I agree with). Just my Opinion .

On a side note " I think they are a bunch of rich spoiled individuals that got hit to hard in the head a few too many times and don't relize they have what they have because of what the National Anthem stands for

Tony, I get where you are coming from, let's think back to your basic training days. If you left the latrine dirty, were you punished by your drill sergeant, or was your whole platoon punished? After that, your platoon ensured that you and everyone else did not make that mistake again. After a few really, really bad days, your platoon figured it out. Now at basic training, the majority of the individuals are 17-19 years old, and when a group of kids can figure it out in short order, then why can't we assume that adults can figure it out.

It seems anymore, the only way to get to athletes and other celebrities is to affect their money. So I will boycott any and all NFL games until the entire organization stands and respects the flag and OUR country.

Understand Your Point

Michael, I understand, however, If I messed up the latrine and the whole squad was punished there would be a blanket party and it would be the last time for that we scrubbed a few soldiers who failed to take regular showers (mostly with brillo pads) Now I have faith that some of those other players will give them a hard time and maybe a few low blows and hard hits will bring them along.

Not going to hold my breath but maybe the players will police their own.

Its not the majority of the good players or even the few bad ones that im mad about but rather the NFL as a franchise that has been close to silent on this. I bet when we start making the NFLs bottom line go down then their backbone may grow a little. A disrespectful thug will be a thug no matter what but a conpany like the nfl should know better seeing that they rely on us as fans for everything

IF WE QUIT WATCHING THEN MAYBE THE NFL WILL TAKE CARE OF IT, I ALSO WILL NOT WATCH NBA, THEY WANT MEN TO BE ABLE TO PEE WITH OUR LITTLE GIRLS AND WIVES AND GR. DAUGHTERS.

I like what James Harrison said (don't have exact quote), he said if anybody on his team doesn't stand for the National Anthem, it better be because they have a broken leg or he'll break it for them.

I noticed everybody was standing for the anthem for the Steelers/ Redskins game tonight. They showed their respect for this country and our service men (either that or they didn't want James to break their legs).

Crapperneck's game comes on later tonight. I will not be watching!!!!

Really???

Not a big fan of the NFL (I call it the National Felon League). The other thing I call it would be a poof, but it's based on the ethnic background of the players.

Anybody remember Ray Lewis, Aaron Hernandez, Ray Rice, etc., etc.

Did what those guys did make you quit watching it???

Not a fan of Colin Kaepernick's method of protesting racial rights/discrimination. I think it's misguided!

Nothing wrong with profiling. It's a good tool.

If you're more offended by Colin Kaepernick than Ray Lewis, Aaron Hernandez, Ray Rice, etc., etc., something is wrong!!!

Objections to his protest just magnify, feed, and bring attention to his cause. The objectors are being played. He's smart enough to realize that!!!

X2

X2, you are correct, there are players who commit and do things far much worse. Yes the media attention justs gives them more coverage and plays into their agenda. There are far better ways to take action, besides not watching the game. Hitting them with their sponsors will do far more damage IMO.
