yall just proved me right.. I work in Bridgewater, Va. for Dynamic Aviation. We are trying to bring back into service a Beechcraft King Air that has been out of service for 3 yrs. Every time we turn around we have a new fuel leak or oil leak or a bleed air leak or something. I told them the plane was full of haints. They looked at me like I was retarded. So I told em what a haint was. And they all ssaidI was full of crap. My ancestors were from Eastern N.C. around Little Washington. To this day I remember my Grandfather and Grandmother use the term.
