Annual Cracker Barrel Get Together @ Southern Days

Well, we are only one week away from Southern Days and as we do every year, we will be getting together at Cracker Barrel at 11am on Friday morning of Southern Days. The Cracker Barrel is located in Mebane, exit number 153.

It's always a great time of just hanging out, talking dogs and eating some good food. There is plenty of time to come and still get to the grounds for activities in the afternoon. Everyone is welcome. Hope to see all of you there.

I looked "Rabble Rouser" up in the dictionary and the definition was "trouble maker". I guess that you will have to buy your own breakfast.

I'm staying beside the Cracker Barrel & it is closed today. Maybe they can open up on Friday. It is snowing here & is supposed to snow into this afternoon. The interstate was in great shape but all the side roads are terrible.

I'm going to leave in about an hour.....probably won't make deadline, but we'll see. All according to how the interstates are and I don't get behind stopped traffic. we had 15 inches at 9am and it has now snowed 2 more inches so we have 17-18 inches. I've been digging trenches for 3 hours. it's nuts.

thanks for the phone call dennis, what a surprise. was thinking about the breakfast at c.b. & could of had some grit. hopfully i can make it next yr.. about all i have been doing is mouing snow& making room for more snow.. have a worm spell coming, then back to who knows what.. doug

Good Time

We had a good time this year at cracker barrel. There was around 13 of us I think which was pretty good considering the conditions. I enjoyed every second of it. Looking forward to next year already.....and hopefully nicer weather.
