Sport mix food
I was just wondering how many of y'all out there feed it and wat you thought about it. I feed purina now and like it but it's almost 30 dollars now here in TN and that's just gettin a little much so I was just try to figure out something else not as expensive.
sportmix
I feed it most of the time and for the money i wwould say it is a very good feed. Shiney soft coats and small hard stools....
Never had a dog turn their head on it yet, would recommend it.
$25/50# here in wisconsin

I have had very good luck with it
and for the money it's worth if for me. My dogs stay healthy, happy and look good and not a lot of clean up.

I have been feeding the 26/18 for a couple years now. Hounds are doing good on it. Not alot of waste and hard stool. My neighbors beagle hangs around the barn and mooch's a meal everday and he's so fat he wobbles It's 26.75 a 50 lb bag here.

They make a grain free or at least corn free feed now called wholesomes i fed a couple bags of it cuase it was on sale. They dogs seemed to like it alot. it was a little higher than the black bag which is what i was feeding. its all pretty good feed for the money.

I was a Black Gold man till the quality went down and the price went up.. I can remember paying under $18 a bag.. I then switched to Sportmix and started selling it in the store. It has been creeping up and finally hit $30 a bag so I have let it go.. I used and really liked the food but its not worth that kinda money..I have always been a Pride dealer, its good food and affordable. After 3 years of Sportmix I switched to 26/20 Pride Pro Series
If you want to lay blame on high dog feed prices start with the reps and the company's. Wholesalers make a little just like the dealers they sell to. We are lucky to make $2 or $3 dollars a bag !
It's also amazing what these new grain free feeds cost and I honestly believe that's the culprit for high prices in the feed hunters use.. Where I pick Pride up they carry a lot of these feeds like taste of the wild, blue buffalo, and other feeds that are $45 to $65 per bag for 40lbs or less.. I just believe feed with prices like these are setting the market price on all feeds

I switched to sportmix and had to go back to purina because I was seeing twice as much waste in the kennel. I see other folks don't have that problem though. Too bad cause sportmix is sold a mile from my house and i hunt the store owners property but can't have that much waste and I was having to use more feed to maintain weight.

I have been feeding Sportsmix for over 5 yrs now. And I have switched my dogs back to Pro Series Pride. Because I refuse to pay $28-30 for a bag of Sportsmix now. Certainly when you can buy the Pro series Pride for $24.99 here in my town.

I've used so called High Quality Feeds and found them no better then the mid grade feeds that are available at most any store.. You paying alot for the name, flashy bag and advertising, not so much for a super feed
I've used Diamond Extreme Athlete and found it to be one of the best feeds used but my supplier hasn't been stocking it.. Diamond EA has feeds like Native beat hands down
