Prayer Request

As many of you might remember, a valued member of our circle of friends in Northern Indiana, Mike Vanlandingham we diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. Some may remember that we held a benefit for him and it was a wild success.....

I got word today that Mike is not doing very well. Last I spoke to him, the radiation treatments were kicking his butt, and he was having to use a feeding tube because he could not eat. He also told me that he was scheduled for some surgery to remove some lymph nodes that had been affected by the cancer. Seems that he was given the "all is clear" from the cancer doc, and sent to the surgeon. However during the surgery, the cancer was found to have returned.

Mike is still in the hospital, and from the sounds of things his spirit is pretty much broken. Please, lift up Mike's state of mind, and his health by offering a prayer in his behalf!

Interestingly enough, Jim had a bout with cancer several years ago and beat it soundly!
