Suspicious Posts?

Ok I keep coming across at least one ore more suspicious posts a day. They always start with something like here is what is wrong with my dog and how do I fix it. Almost everytime they are almost begging for a bunch of shoot em and cull responses. The latest one is titled something like "Alright I admit it I can't cull my dog" and then they go on to describe a dog that obviously doesn't need culled. When you look at the number of posts made by the poster it is usually under ten posts. Am I the only one who finds these posts highly suspicious. Seems to me likethey could be animal rights groups or something fishing for ammunition against us. Be careful what you post!

here is another one

I have two walkers at the moment. They're not hunters but both are out of great lines.

The older one is the sweetest dog in the world and lays around the house all day.

The younger one (Screaming Southern Belle) is a little over a year and is still just crazy.

She circles a chair in the living room crying, but doesn't want to be let out. She barks constantly, even when wearing a bark collar, and she gets aggressive when unknown dogs get in her face.

I have tried three different medications on her and shocked her occasionally. I am going to start shocking her big time, with full voltage, every time she displays this behavior. The problem is that we love her to death and I do not want to kill her. It would put serious emotional scars on me if it came to that but we are soon to have a baby on the way and this just can't continue.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a dog like this. Will the electricity help? Will she grow out of this?

Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't worrie to much about it on a gamefowl site I talk on though we do have to worrie but when a DA post on there we know because they put red flags up that we know should not be asked because that stuff is illegal and we don't take part in the illegal stuff only for show.

You bring up a very good point. Whether or not these posts are genuine it's a good idea to assume that the HSUS has trolls out there to build a case against houndsmen. I'm certain the HSUS watches the UKC classifieds. The HSUS is responsible for getting bear and bobcat hunting with hounds banned in California just last month.

Exactly! Everyone needs to think before typing. Many hunters on here seem not to be able to see the big picture and how their actions and words are taken by the non hunting public. Often times we are our worst enemy.

.

Some very good information here. Glad to see someone is looking at the big picture and bringing it to our attention.

It is sad that dogs end up the way they do, but it is the problem of the owner or past owners that caused this.

Watch the dog whisperer. It's not the dog he trains, it's the owners.

I always think before I post.

I'm as tender hearted as they come but I'm also a realistic person. Be smart and remember there are people out there who want to see our hounds stop doing what we breed them to do.

God bless America. Land of the FREE AND THE BRAVE!

Good post... Gets you thinking! Most (I think) are young folks that don't know a lot about hunting or dogs asking for help but, you could be right.

Won't happen. There's too much Money and POWER in it. I'm thinking about jumping on board and taking up collections for my pockets For me to place myself as a Regulater of yall dummies that don't feel the pain of snatching the ears off Corn or twisting the indesciminate "Heads" off cabbage , or plowing live PNuts to let their little nuts dry in the Sun. and pulling the Pods ( oowie) of Okra. Yall need to Feel LIKE I Feel and I tell you right now to hop to it. Do you have a clue as to how many innocent little ticks you might step on and sqush going in to a tree ? Where is your Environmental Impacty Statement you filed after your pup treed? Yall just don't get it. Watch and follow Liberal me, heck, I'll put you IN CONTROL and in the MONEY.

And how 'bout Squash? We got all kinds. We got Crook Neck and straightneck and Hard Red Winter and Rubber Neck squash . n.Who decides the pallete for us as to what neck gets broke?? I'll tell ya Boys, Think outside the Box. Come on in! The Water's fine.

Do those vegetarians have a clue as to howm much pain and suffering they cause to our little Plants buddies?? No , they are clueless but don't need us meat eaters to straighten them out. NO , If we quit eating we would lose weight. Heck with counting callories. Some of us really believe that Human Beings are ABOVE the animals. Therfore, if everybody signs on to me for the plants and the Animal Rights folk to not eat animals , then I deduce only Humans will remain on the list to be et by them. Annie, pack your Gun.
