You ever sold a dog you wished you hadn't?
Here lately I have been kicking myself. I sold a dog to a man who I believe sold him a few days after he got him then claimed the boy he sold him to changed his number so therefore i cant find him! He would tree a coon and was pretty slow. I sold him because he would run and would tree on a stump or a log sometimes but that's mostly because he was around other dogs and was still young. But boy he was coon crazy and kill dog to the max! I could let him out of the pen and if the truck door was open he was riding in the cab lol. When I got him he was skin and bones so I brought him in the house a time or two and he was a real well mannered dog inside believe it or not! He also treed a froze coon on the refrigerator a time or two lol. He pulled a double he was my buddy and my hunting dog. I sure wished I would have worked with him more. If anyone from West Tennessee knows anyone with this ole dogs description holler at me. He is a short stocky Bluetick with a heck of a bawl mouth on him. He is slightly bow legged. If nobody has sent in his UKC puppy papers his name on the back will say Destiny's Screamin Lil Demon. His Sire is GRNITECH T&H's Blue Squirt and Dam is Good Ole Boys Hope II. Thanks.

Yeah I had a little too much influence from other people. I had just got into coon hunting and was getting told I could find a better dog.

I sold a super nice young bluetick male to a man in Arkansas. The dog was the most natural starting pup I have ever raised. He was as solid and pull proof of a dog right out the gatee as I have ever seen. Once he looked up he was hooked. He was also an exceptional lay up dog. The only thing I didn't like about him is he would sometimes take an old track and just rub his nose across the ground. It was so frustrating, I absolutely could not stand him when he would get stuck on one of those crappy tracks and waste half of my night boo ticking around. Well apparently he learned to lift his head and tuck his tale a little because the fellow I sold him to made him a nitech with three first place wins and now he likes but one win to grand. That fellow just loves him to death and swears he is the once in a lifetime dog he has always dreamed of. Like I said I loved every thing about that dog from looks, to mouth, to manners, to hunting ability but that one priblem I guess I just wasn't patient enough with him.

Yep
A few, and of course a alot I wished Id sold much quicker than I did or gave away. Best word of advice that was given to me, ABSOLUTLEY don't sale your dog unless its a money a problem that your kids are going to go hungry, etc, if you really like your dog. Because 99 % of the time you will spend that money plus ten times more trying to get back what you already had. Plus if you try hard enough you can get that extra money to pay bills. These special dogs don't come along everyday, be smart before you price them.
Never sold one I regret but sure have bought a few over the years I regretted......lol
yes

You've only got 3 choices in life, give in, give up, or give it all you got.
Yes I sold Hardtime Poison Patty to Mr Larry Wilcox and Mr Charles Garris in 1988 and cried for 2 weeks !!!!! She was heart broke as well and would not hunt for Charles and he asked me to come up and go huntin. I got her out of the kennel and she licked all over me and wined around like a puppy broke my heart and still does........ SORRY OLE GIRL
