It is not hard to get this plused up but try and get one circled with a possum in it and tell them the coon want look.LOL

Of course, she is a hound … the moment she realizes that I’ve been bragging her up… and has an audience…..she’ll go trash on a deer or pull some other equally idiotic stunt..

I was looking at the whole coon last fall and my buddy said I have him to. He dropped the grinner and my female got gone. She treed once again with coon and possum in same tree and went on to do it the third time for the night. All of these trees had muskidimes ( spelling not sure ) growing in them. and only seen this happen that one time. What a night that was.

Possum up a 'simmon tree
Racoon on the ground
Racoon say come on boy
Won't you shake them things on down?

Possum he began to shake
and them 'simmons they did fall
Racoon said " now hold on boy'
I didn't want 'em all.

Racoon his got rings all around
Possum, his grows bare.
Rabbit got no tail at all
just a little bitty bunch of hair.

Coon Hunter Story book

LaFave you should create a journal and save all this folklore that you have saved up in your head. You always have something to add to the pot. We just laid low the other week at Edisto. Thanks for the reply next time I am down that way we should go fishing or crabbing or somthing. My wife reads some of your stuff on here and just shakes her head. She thinks you are a hoot.
