I live in the mo. bootheel and its been a bad year between the ice storm last jan and all the water.I hunt in the miss. river bottoms. Probably have killed 10-15 this season so far.Around here its hard to find a place to hunt because everything is gated off or posted.

better off waiting till next year. The coons are worth more to the young dogs then they are as furs.

yeah i can get more out of the meat than the hide so i usually bring them in and skin them.Get about 6-8$ out of them so getting a little money back on gas and dogfood.

sold 17 got $5 for 2 and$3 for 5 and a $1 for the rest that funny lol but im not in itfor the money like to hear the dogs run. and hunt with good guys too.

save the hides till after the fur sales with NAFA go off in january.

Hide prices might improve..or bottom out to nothin...weve put 20+ big uns in the deep freeze... leavin' the lil ones in the trees..... and not huntin as hard with the early snow and cold this year, and a new baby comin in January

going tonite let u know how we did might tree a lay up coon or 2 dogs are dieing to go . got a new guy go with me tonite too he got a young dog . frist yr the guy strated hunt . holpe he strats comps hunt to have someone to ride with that way lol

I let the kids shoot out one coon per dog per week. I have not allowed them to skin any of them. With hide prices this low them furr buyers aint geeting to make a profit off me.

got in at 3:00 treed 7 spit tree 2 time had a good run on 4 tree them on the out side 1 lay up with my old dog. coon wasnt moving after 10 tonite
