Sick Dog Need Help

I JUST GOT IN ABOUT AN HOUR AGO AND HAD A 9 MONTH OLD DOG CURLED UP IN HIS BOX GOT HIM OUT HE APPEARS TO BE WEAK I TRYED A FEW DIFFRENT TYPES OF FOOD AND NO LUCK WONT EAT SO I GOT OUT A STRAW AND SOME GATORAID AND FORCED ABOUT 8 OZ. DOWN HIS THROAT HE HAS THE RUNS BUT NO ODER OR BLOOD IN IT HE GOT IN A ROLL WITH A COON ON FRIDAY NIGHT BUT WAS FINE THIS MORN BY 9PM HE IS SICK ANY IDEAS I HAVE TRYED 4 VETS IN THE AREA BUT NO ONE IS IN....NEED HELP ASAP IAM LEAVING THE PUTER ON SO SEND UM

you need to get him to a vet as soon as possable sound's like the on set of coon dog paralisis to me and he's going to need serious med's if that's the case keep callin vets till you can find one that will see him

IAM UP TO 12 VETS WITH NO LUCK JUST GOT A BIT MORE FLUID INTO HIM HE WAS UP AND MOVING THIS TIME BUT SLOW ACTING..

up to date on his shots just got 6 oz of fluid in him 3 big blobs of cottage chz and a doggi pop some frozen thing my wife bought ...vets at 7 am

just had a four month old pup that got parvo she had two rounds of 5 way shots and one 7 way! the vet told me that some times the shots just dont take until about the fourth round or possibly a bad vaccine. her symptoms were kind of like what you describe diahrea and she wouldnt eat or drink and just looked sad, and she also had no blood in her stool. took her to the vet and sure enough the big P. they said i caught it pretty early and thought she had a good chance to make it, and sure enough 477 dollars later they were right she made it fine. now you would have never known she was ever sick. i hope everything turns out alright for you and your hound. good luck!

It sounds like the onset of Coondog Paralysis. If it is this or even Parvo, keeping him hydrated IS THE KEY! Keep as much fluid in him as you can. Does he have the squirts really badly and/or is it bloody? That is a sure symptom of Parvo. If his stools are pretty normal then I would lean more towards Coondog Paralysis. Get him to the vet as quickly as you can because if it is either thing then it's good if you can catch it early. Good Luck and let us know how it goes!

he is back on his feet i have gave him 3 iv treatments vet shot him up with meds and he is back to eating and drinking ...
