Old Full Cry Magazines

I have two old Full Cry magazines one dated November 1940 and the other March 1944. Got these about 10 years ago when our club was cleaning out files and no one wanted them so I took them.
I wonder how I can find out if they are originals or just newer copies? Anyone know?
They are very interesting to read and look at.

They should say if there reprint + you should be able to smell them. I have a buddy who has a collection from the 60's to the late 90's. you can smell the diff.

Go here and click on subscription and they have them for sale back to 1950. Oct. 1967 I believe said it was $ 20.00

I e-mailed them about my two to see what they could tell me.

I just got a answer from Full Cry and they said they have to be first print orginals for they do not reprint any issues. and never have.

I guess I have a real treasure in them.

Full Cry has reprinted and has sold some and given some with subscripions. I have some reprints and some originals. I will check your dates and see if I can confirm anything. I believe my collction starts in the late 30's.

I collect coon hunting mags, and found a real treasure the other day. I was coming back from fishing, and seen a rummage sale with a bunch of fishing poles out front, so I stopped. I didnt buy a pole, but bought 85 Full Cry, and American cooner mags from the 60's and 70's for 5 bucks. They are all in mint condition.

Luke you got a real deal. If you have any duplicates or issues you want to get rid of I collect Full Cry and have some old cooners and Blood lines and would sure like to do a little trading.

I will go through all them and see what I got. I bet I have about 300 magazines.
