Gatlinburg Tn

Any good coonhunting around Gatlinburg Tn. I will be there October for a week and would like to hunt while I am there. Thanks

I was there for a vacation last spring. We did some hikes in the smoky mountain national park. Looking around I thought if I had to coon Hunt this every night I don’t know if I could or would. Those guys that do are tough.

If you are not tough to begin with, you WILL get tough hunting these mountains. I think they get steeper every year. Lol. Dave

Enjoy Gatlinburg, don't hunt. Our hunting is pitiful.

Don't plan that far ahead but might be able hunt night or two around then but it will be mountains and thick cover. Give me a call then. Am about 30 mins. north of there. Bout 15 mins from Rogersville. 423-923-1420

No doubt hunting those mountains and crawling up and down through that laurel will make a man tough.

Them boys lying to you, some of the best hunting in the smoky mtns is right there . get some shine and take off ,you will love it.

We go out there every fall

And I always think it would be fun to hunt, then we go on a two mile hike and I start thinking it would not be fun chasing a dog up a mountain. Not saying I couldn’t...but I’d rather the hills be a little smaller... but I’d be up for trying it at least once.

.

Oirebel where area are you in. I know a few guys east of Knoxville. I also know one spot NE of Knoxville around Olive Springs. Land borders Wind Rock ATV park. All these spots are too steep for my old legs and big belly.

Gatlinburg area in October is about heaven to me. Too much stuff to do and sights to see to worry about chasing dogs. Enjoy your time there doing other stuff you wont regret it.
