North Carolina State Youth Hunt June 2nd and 3rd

The 2017 North Carolina State Youth Hunt will be held at the community center in Norwood, NC on June 2nd and 3rd. The hunt on Friday the 2nd is a regular UKC event with the bench show having a 6;30 PM deadline and a $15 entry fee. The deadline for the nite hunt is 8:00 PM with a $20 entry. All proceeds from this event will go to fund next year's youth hunt. There will be a full day of youth events held on Saturday June 3rd, the deadline for the bench show is 1 PM with a $5 entry fee. The deadline for the nite hunt is 7 PM with a $5 entry fee. We will also have a treeing contest and a coon squalling contest. Every child that attends will receive a gift bag. We will have great prizes to give away to the winners in all the competitions. We will also be having a raffle on Saturday of various donated items with the proceeds from the raffle going to fund next year's youth hunt. Please plan on attending and bringing a young person to participate and if you don't have a youth and would like to help out, we always need non -hunting judges and your help would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to seeing each one of you the first weekend in June in Norwood.
