Peanut Butter

I've heard it's good coon attractant and was wondering where would be the best place to look for a bulk supply?

Anybody else used it? How did it work?

Thanks

Works great until it starts to freeze outside. Ive never bought it in bulk before just jars about 2 or 3 nts jar will be gone. But it works. Good idea when starting a young dog.

Bulk

I don't know about bulk, but I might try some of those govt surplus stores?

I just get a couple of jars of the cheapest stuff I can find and lag bolt the lid with a big washer inside of it to a junk tree and cut a hole in the underside. Thread the jar on there and you are ready.

I'm feeding my second 55 gallon drum. The first one lasted about 6 months. Once they find it they come every night. Only problem is its too thick for them to feed themselves by reaching a paw in a 2 inch hole. I sat another plastic drum next to it and shovel about four scoops into the plastic drum. It has a big hole in the side about 6 inches from the bottom. I check it about every 2 weeks. We don't have many bears but i've heard they really love it. It's waste from a peanut butter factory I paid $50.00 for the last one. I heard it went up to $75.00 It weighs 500lbs and I handle it with my tractor loader.

I don't know any where's close to Louisiana that's makes it so probably have to look around at Sams and places like that.

We don't have bears on our side of the state but are ate up with hogs! I'm hoping it will work better than corn because I'm going to have some pups to start around December.

Hogs will come till its all gone unless you put it up where they cant get to it.

Look on Craigslist.

I haven't thought about that.

I think I'm going to build some small hog and deer proof stalls for feeding stations.

Thanks for all the info!
