Screws for DC40 Collar
I am looking for the 2 screws that hold the DC 40 Collar to the Garmin and also the 1 screw that holds the antenna to the Garmin. Anyone know where I can buy them? Either send me an email or call if you have a suggestion. Clarkc@homesc.com or 843-899-7417. Thanks

If you have one to match them with. I get them at Ace Hardware. The screws that hold the antenna has a rounded head but that doesn't matter.
Bruce any idea on screws broke off inside, would there be any room for a real small bit and tap? I realize the collar is probably screwed ha. Ha.

I think they are stainless steel screws
.
For DC 40 and 30 we do it with a small easy out. You have to be very careful to stay on the screw post and not get into the threads. Your dealing with such a small drill bit you can't apply much pressure or you will break it. Be very patient and you will be surprised that just by drilling the top of the post and it getting hot will loosen it up. Again stay on the screw post or everything is lost because to re-tap the hole is even harder to do. Now if your a machinist and have all the right tools, there is nothing to it. I am just a Coon Hunter
For the TT 10 thats a different animal and even smaller screws. You have perimeter screws and then you have screws that hold the plate for the antenna down. On the plate screws the center one is shorter. Which did you break and how far down in the threads did it break. I don't have a clue how one could break unless you tried to put a long screw into that short hole. If that is the one broke I would not worry about it. That would be the center one on the antenna plate.
Haha Thanks, im not a machinist but I do work with a few good ones, would you do that if I send the collar to you?

I revised my above post to include the TT 10. Which screw broke off. If I had to guess it would be the center one on the plate as that is you only one I think you could break.
Im not at home right now and I cant remember which ones but i do know i snapped two off, the back cover is loose so I threw it in the shelf awhile ago and its practically new

I called garmin and they sent me new screws at no charge for all 3 of my collars. I take them apart quite often to clean them and to make sure none of the screws come loose. Give them a call they might hook you up for free.
